Safe implantation thanks to 3D planning
From a medical and aesthetic point of view, dental implants are the most modern and best way to replace missing teeth.
Implant-supported dentures consist of an artificial tooth root (the actual implant, usually made of titanium) and the dental prosthesis attached to it in the form of a single crown, bridge or complete row of teeth or prosthesis.
The treatment usually takes place in several stages. After the implant has been inserted into the jawbone, a healing phase follows. During this time, the implant grows firmly into the bone. After the healing period, the new crown, bridge or prosthesis can be firmly attached to it.
We have the option of planning your implantation digitally in advance if required. This 3D planning based on 3D X-ray images (DVT) enables safer treatments, optimal utilization of the available bone and, in some cases, advantages in terms of aesthetics.
1. single tooth replacement: If a single tooth is missing and the surrounding teeth are healthy, a dental implant can serve as a permanent solution to replace the missing tooth without affecting the neighboring teeth.
2. multiple tooth gaps: Dental implants can also be used to replace multiple missing teeth without using a bridge or removable dentures. This provides stability and aesthetics.
3. tooth loss in the jaw area: Even with complete tooth loss in the upper or lower jaw, dental implants can be used to create a fixed and functional tooth replacement solution such as implant-supported dentures.
4. strengthening the jawbone: Dental implants stimulate the jawbone and help to prevent or minimize bone loss that can occur after the loss of natural teeth.
Your dentist will perform a thorough examination and evaluate your individual situation to determine if dental implants are the right option for you. They offer a permanent and aesthetic solution to restore the function and appearance of your teeth.
